Community Engagement
Our commitment to the communities where we operate is foundational, not transactional.
For over six years at the Kanyika Project, we have fostered a structured, transparent partnership with local leaders and community representatives through bi-annual consultations. These meetings, held in collaboration with Malawian government officials, are a two-way dialogue to align our plans with community priorities. Government representatives are always present, including delegates from the Office of the Minister of Mines, as well as the District Commissioner.
We build trust through continuous action. We further cement this commitment through a dedicated policy of local hiring. As much as possible, we hire locally so that community talent directly benefits from the project’s development.
